{"id":2180,"date":"2018-02-13T09:16:05","date_gmt":"2018-02-13T08:16:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/incrediblefilm.com\/?p=2180"},"modified":"2018-02-13T09:17:11","modified_gmt":"2018-02-13T08:17:11","slug":"redbad-scores-us-deal-with-epic","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/incrediblefilm.com\/en\/news\/redbad-scores-us-deal-with-epic\/","title":{"rendered":"Redbad scores US deal with Epic"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Epic Pictures Acquires North American Rights to Dutch Historical Action Adventure REDBAD <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Even before doors open on EFM 2018, Dutch sales company Incredible Films announced February 8 that Epic Pictures via its US distributor Epic Releasing has acquired North American rights for Roel Reine\u2019s action-packed period war film <strong>REDBAD<\/strong>, starring Jonathan Banks\u00a0(star of acclaimed TV series\u00a0<em>Breaking Bad<\/em> and\u00a0<em>Better Call Saul<\/em>), S\u00f8ren Malling\u00a0(The<em> Killing<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Borgen<\/em>) and\u00a0Gijs Naber (<em>Tulipani<\/em>,\u00a0<em>The Heineken Kidnapping<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Penoza<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p>At EFM, Incredible\u2019s Danielle Raaphorst will screen four minutes of footage of the film to buyers. The hotly anticipated title will be ready for delivery in June 2018.<\/p>\n<p>Patrick Ewald, CEO of Epic Pictures: \u201cRoel Reine is one of the best action directors in the film business and Jonathan Banks gives the performance of his career. When Danielle Raaphorst and Incredible showed us early footage of the battle scenes and the impressive large scale production value, we knew that REDBAD was destined to become an Epic Release.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>REDBAD<\/strong> has already sold to The Netherlands, France, Spain, Germany, the Middle East and South Korea. \u201cThese sales are based on the script and limited footage.
