A live-action high-end pre-school series (16×6,5′), SA\u00cfD & ANN<\/strong>, directed by Hilt Lochten, is set in a repair shop, powered by a deep friendship, where children\u2019s autonomy is celebrated, and important topics such as sustainability and diversity are approached in an authentic and imaginative way for its young, developing audience.

The series is a co-production with Indi Film and 3 TV channels \u2013 the Netherlands\u2019 EO \/NPO Zappelin,<\/strong> Germany\u2019s SWR \/ Kika<\/strong> and Belgium\u2019s VRT \/ Ketnet<\/strong>. It is a truly international production at heart with a cinematic feel. 

Following the premiere, there will be an exclusive panel with Eveline Groeneveld<\/strong>, the Head of Children’s Programming at EO<\/em>, Robert Fortuijn<\/strong>, Manager of NPO Zappelin<\/em>, Stefanie von Ehrenstein<\/strong>, the Head of Children\u2019s Programming at SWR<\/em>, Annemie Gulickx<\/strong>, Channel Manager of Ketnet VRT<\/em> and Harro van Staverden<\/strong>, producer at Phanta Basta!<\/em> to talk about the uniquely progressive and innovative co-production.

The panelists will also discuss the globally-resounding premise of the series \u2013 that everyone is valuable, everyone is equal, and that no distinctions should be made based on ethnicity, religion, or personal beliefs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Synopsis: <\/strong><\/em>Sa\u00efd (6) and Anna (7) are best friends. Every day after school, they hang out around The Repair Shop run by Sa\u00efd\u2019s parents. While broken things from the locals are given a new life by using the right tools, the children figure out how to fix their own \u2018problems\u2019, in their own, creative way.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
