Incredible Film debuts new live action kids’ slate for MIPJunior

Lineup of digital-first content features acquisition of tween series Mila’s Mission and The First Time and new season of award-winning Saïd & Anna

International sales agent Incredible Film today unveils its slate of live action kids’ content for MIPJunior 2025. The lineup of content for global audiences includes tween feel-good series Mila’s Mission and The First Time from Z@PP in the Netherlands.

As Incredible Film continues to build on its slate of high-end, live-action kids content for both digital and linear platforms, it will introduce the feel-good web series Mila’s Mission (10×7’). The series features bite-size episodes following 12-year-old Mila on her quest to find summer love. Hoping to have her first kiss from Kai, Mila teams up with her best friend Yara to plot a foolproof plan to win Kai’s heart. This coming-of-age series is made for tween girls and deals with real life challenges, insecurities and the transition into adulthood. Mila’s Mission is produced by Rinkel Film and premiered on AVRO/TROS | Z@PP in the Netherlands last month. The series has been selected as a finalist for this year’s C21 International Format Awards.

This year Incredible Film will introduce the hybrid tween series The First Time (8×14’), produced by Haegens Media for KRO/NCRV | Z@PP in the Netherlands. The contemporary comedy series captures the lives of five children from different families as they face their “first times” on the road to growing up. Featuring candid testimonials from each child about their first crushes, first days at school and the first time being grounded, the series integrates documentary-style storytelling into short-form, scripted comedy that’s tailored for the digital generation. Every new step brings hilarious, awkward, and relatable moments in this unique, digestible series.

The First Time premiered on YouTube, and has proven popular with audiences both on linear and YouTube, accumulating over 41.6M online views since its launch, and has sold to ZDF. Series 2 (10×17’) is currently in post-production along with a Christmas special, and series 3 is currently in development. Incredible Film will present the series to further international partners at the market next month.

As a returning series, Incredible Film will present the S2 of Saïd & Anna, which takes place during the school holidays and follows Saïd & Anna on new adventures as they discover new items brought into to Saïd’s parent’s repair shop. This series will see the development of Saïd and Anna’s characters as they give broken items such as lamps and toys a new life. The first series was well received by international audiences, due to its central themes of diversity, inclusivity and environmentalism and has been sold to Z@pp, Kika, Orf, SVT, NRK, Yle, DR, Ceska Televize, BeIN and Encripta. Season 2 has already picked up by Z@pp, Kika, NRK and DR.

All three series will be screened via MIPJunior’s digital content library, highlighting Incredible Film’s commitment to innovative, digital-first programming that translates seamlessly across platforms and territories.

Daniëlle Raaphorst, CEO of Incredible Film says “Our slate for MIPJunior 2025 reflects Incredible Film’s expertise and commitment to high-quality, live-action kids’ content that resonates with audiences across platforms and borders. With series such as Mila’s Mission and The First Time, the selection is curated to reflect how young audiences are consumer content today; short, engaging, and shareable stories that are both entertaining and relatable.
