Sales agent announces 4 leading projects, spanning across animation and live action

International sales agent Incredible Film today announces its slate for Marché du Film. The Dutch sales agent will present 4 projects across live action and animation, kids, family and prime content.

On Incredible Films’ prime slate is the live action Fight for FREEDOM (115’, also available as a 5×30’ mini-series), a live action fantasy epic about Friesland’s greatest hero known as Grutte Pier. Fabled Frisian freedom fighter Peer Gerlofs Donia is a gentle giant who turns into a blood-thirsty, revenge-driven killer when his family is brutally murdered. His quest for revenge forges him into a beacon for his people as he becomes their leader in a fight for independence. Directed by Steven de Jong, the film’s lead is Milan van Weelden (Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire SagaZenith: Supercharged Family).

Also on the slate is romantic feel-good feature Rocco and Sjuul (92’) which follows the story of Sjuul, whose life is turned upside down when she runs into her childhood sweetheart Rocco. Though they have led separate lives for years, sparks fly once more and despite resistance from their families, their love is unstoppable. The film is aimed at a wide 50+ audience, a strong cinema-attending demographic.

The Infinite Slime Movie (81’) is the 4th film of the popular Slime Movie collection, leading Incredible Films’ kids and family slate. The live action project follows the success of previous films, which were the fifth highest-grossing Dutch films in 2020, 2021 and 2022 in their respective years of release. Indy’s slime adventure continues when a mysterious slime stone with magical powers suddenly arrives from outer space. When it falls into the hands of supervillain Xenia Kobalt, chaos erupts. Hand in hand with old and new slime friends and the friendly alien Klatu, her quest to stop Xenia takes Indy beyond infinity.

Tummy Tom (4×60’ or 13×5’) is an animated film series based on the bestselling children’s books produced by Phanta Animation and BosBros. Tummy Tom is the famous Dutch tomcat who first appeared in Sesame Street in 1978. In the first film of the series Tummy Tom’s Teddybear, Tom discovers something shocking. Bear is missing! Bear is his favourite cuddly toy and must be found. Luckily Tummy Tom gets help from Cat Mouse, his best friend. The first film will be completed by Summer 2024.
