A funny, moving romcom for all ages
For years, ex-pat Pleun has been running a holiday retreat on Bonaire, a place where her guests can switch off and re-centre: Casa Coco. Her old friends from back home like to come and stay for a lovely relaxing holiday. Now, Pleun’s long lost love Toon turns up with some friends, looking to forget his troubles in the Caribbean sunshine after his wife has announced that she wants a divorce. The two ex-lovers haven’t seen each other in years. Because Pleun suddenly left Toon 50 years to go to Bonaire, Toon falls from one set of problems back into another. Can the childhood sweethearts rekindle their romance on Pleun’s island paradise?
