When the owner of the Costa. succumbs to the club’s success and has to temporarily go into a quiet retreat to recover, it is up to his staff to keep the club running.
Having won the Battle of the Bars, Club Costa is now the place to be on the Spanish Coast – but with its popularity peaking, Thomas is struggling to keep all the plates spinning. One night, the pressure finally gets to him and he has a panic attack. Next time, a Spanish doctor warns him, it could be worse, recommending that Thomas stops what he is doing immediately and hands over the reins to someone else. Thomas is not convinced. Besides, there is a decided absence of a worthy successor: Mike and Kay don’t have the brains, Esmee is too clumsy and newcomers Mila, an aspiring DJ, and Bibi’s cousin Zoe simply lack the experience. Might the mysterious Duuk, who has accidentally found his way to Costa on his world tour, be the solution?!
Following a second, more violent panic attack, Thomas realises that he will have to make a change. He pleads all Costa crew members to take over, but only Kay and Mike are up for the challenge, so Thomas pits the two best friends against each other in a contest to showcase their skills. When even the contest proves inconclusive, the Costa crew convinces Thomas that they can run the club as a team. Kay, however, refuses to accept the outcome, instead taking a job with rival Club Bonza. Hector Dos Santos, the club’s neighbour and head of the local planning committee, is fed up with his noisy Dutch neighbours and hatches a scheme to close the club for good.
While Mike mourns Kay’s betrayal, the Costa crew decides to throw a Full Moon beach party. When Mike goes to arrange the permit, he clashes with the unyielding Hector dos Santos, but also finds a new friend in lifeguard Fix-it Fatih, who helps Mike out by promising to deliver a permit against all odds. Infatuated as he is by Fatih, Mike offers him a job at Costa. Meanwhile, Mila falls for the seductive June, the manager at Bonza, but their colleagues are less than pleased about their controversial romance. Duuk goes on a date with Esmee, only to find out that even his charms can’t crack her shell, or could this have something to do with all the mysterious phone calls Esmee keeps getting?
On the morning of the Full Moon party, Mike discovers that the permit Fatih wrangled is a fake, but the two men decide to keep it under wraps. Duuk and Esmee have their hands full with a DJ with stage fright. On a quest to meet the DJ’s demands, Duuk learns that the mysterious caller is Esmee’s father, who has been trying in vain to reach out to his estranged daughter. It’s Zoe’s birthday and she suspects that her friends are planning a big surprise. With the Full Moon party already begun and the DJ nowhere to be seen, June pushes Mila to take to the decks. Mike and Fatih try their hardest to keep the peace among the clubbers. Hector jumps at the chance to catch Costa making a costly error.
Costa gets an official warning for throwing an illegal party: they’re one mistake away from shuttering for good. Their reputation has also suffered a blow, and Mike and Fatih are forced back into their roles as club PRs. In an attempt to crack Esmee’s shell, Duuk offers to mediate between her and her wealthy father Hugo. Zoe wakes up next to Fatih but can’t remember a thing. Fatih claims they had an epic night, but as Zoe retraces her footsteps, she comes to a different conclusion. Esmee is caught off guard by the sudden appearance of Hugo. She tries to slap Duuk, but instead hits a guest, sparking a fight… and the end of Club Costa.
With the club officially closed, the crew nominates Mike to break the bad news to Thomas. Worried about the repercussions, Mike chains himself to the club’s front gate out of sheer desperation. Zoe and Fatih take their relationship to the next level, but Fatih fears that Mike will find out, who has warned him that Zoe is off-limits. With Costa closing, June offers Mila the chance to DJ at Bonza, and she accepts, despite knowing that this won’t sit well with her friends. Esmee wants Duuk to leave Costa, but nonetheless agrees to meet with her father Hugo, who seems to have changed for the better. When it turns out he had a hidden agenda all along, she tells him to leave too, her heart broken a second time.
Thomas returns and finds his club permanently closed. In a last-ditch effort to save Costa, they hatch a plan to bribe Hector. The entire crew, including Kay and June, work together to trap Hector, offering him money in exchange for revoking the closure order. Hector refuses to budge, and their failed attempt lands Costa in even hotter water. Just as Thomas and his crew finally come to grips with their fate, a lawyer presents himself, promising to help the Costa challenge the closure order at the expense of a mysterious third party. When Thomas starts asking questions, Duuk discovers that Esmee has snuck out. She has agreed to come along with her father in exchange for him helping Costa and her friends…
While Duuk tries to stop Esmee from making the biggest mistake of her life, Thomas and the rest of the crew work their hardest to organise the grand reopening of Costa after the closure order is revoked because their neighbour Hector was too closely involved in the case. When Fatih finds a positive pregnancy test, he thinks it is Zoe’s, and professes his love for her to Mike. With Mike’s unexpected blessing, Fatih pledges his commitment to Zoe, only to find out she is not pregnant. Duuk follows Hugo’s yacht in a dinghy, hoping to persuade Esmee not to go with her father, but with him instead. After all, Club Costa is where she belongs.
