Shortly after his brother is killed in a targeted assassination attempt, student Samir narrowly escapes the same fate. Not knowing who is after him, he flees to Morocco. Years later, public prosecutor Sabine Lamans links this same Samir—now operating under the alias Gio—to a series of killings within the criminal underworld. When a key witness is brought in and a Canadian PGP server is cracked, the prosecution suddenly gains access to a wealth of new evidence.
