Tummy Tom (4×60’) is an animated film series based on the bestselling children’s books produced by Phanta Animation (known by Miss Moxy) with BosBros and Eyeworks Film & TV.
In the first film in the series Tummy Tom and the Lost Teddy Tom discovers something shocking; Bear is missing! Bear is his favorite cuddle toy and must be found. Luckily Tummy Tom gets help from Cat Mouse, his best friend.
Tummy Tom is a funny, inquisitive, adventurous, and a slightly mischievous ginger tomcat. Together with his animal friends, he explores the world around him just like a pre-schooler would. Tummy Tom first appeared in Sesame Street in 1978 and Dutch publisher Gottmer started publishing Jet Boeke’s stories in 1983. Since then, millions of Tummy Tom books have been sold around the world. Last year Tummy Tom celebrated his 45th birthday.
With Tummy Tom, preschoolers and toddlers will get the chance to get his or her first real cinema experience. And, together with the orange tomcat, they are allowed to do what every 2-, 3-, 4-year-old loves to do: talk, sing, clap, and stomp along. After all, at their age they can’t sit still and listen for very long yet. With Tummy Tom you don’t have to. In fact: their active participation is a must!
